The process of ascension is a return to Oneness or Unity, a realisation that we are all connected; all plants, animals, humans, and the planet itself, that we are all individualised expressions of the same Source. Paradoxically whilst a return to Oneness is the eventual outcome, or at least this chapter, the path to arrive can be an intensely lonely one, and is certainly a highly personal and individual one. So given that there are no BA’s, Doctorates, Masters, or PhD’s in Ascension, I felt to briefly sketch out my credentials by virtue of my journey to this point where I feel wishful and able to be of support to others. As a sensitive child, growing up I could always sense when the faces, expressions, and behaviours of people were at odds with what they were saying and doing, it was always a great puzzle to me. I also always felt profound compassion for people who looked and seemed so sad to my young eyes. Also, I found things somewhat boring, I couldn’t understand why there seemed to be this de facto script for the lives of many people, even when we began hopeful and excited, so often it would seem that forty or so years further along, we would find ourselves living a conventional existence. Surely there is more to life that this I would think to myself. As time passed, I tried to conform, I really did! I was fortunate in that I worked in the Information Technology industry, and had opportunities to travel and to do different things in relative freedom. Always though, feeling this disconnect from what was visible and said, from what I could sense. Many years on, the Year 2000 to be exact, my entire life was shaken up, and then began almost 12 years of removing the foundations of the life I thought I had and leaving me hanging there without a secure base to rebuild from until the end of this last year, 2011. What happened during those almost 12 years was a process and had its own ‘structure’ of unfoldment, clearly visible with hindsight, and which is not uncommon during this ascension process.
